In April 2018, Endeavor welcomed its newest member of the team, Community Manager Alan Grubbs. Alan’s experience with technology, working with creatives at agencies and for brands, and his general “get it done” attitude made it clear to everyone that he was the perfect choice to serve in this role for our members.
Alan began his career in Atlanta, managing analog and digital transmissions for a media network, with clients that included Ford, Advance Auto, and State of Georgia Education. From there he moved into positions supporting cable networks, worldwide sporting events, and national news feeds – and became proficient in the existing and emerging technology and tools his teams used to route, patch, convert, uplink, downlink and decode content on its way to consumers.
Moving to Greenville, Alan joined Spots, Inc. as a Video Editor/Audio Engineer, shooting and editing brand anthems, commercials and special events for a variety of clients, and from there became part of the Skyline Post team, serving as Video Editor/Video Compressionist (and all-around go-to guy who thrived on figuring out solutions for his teammates and clients). Along the way, Alan turned his passion for brewing into a vocation; he is a Certified Beer Server in the Cicerone Certification Program, working toward Certified Cicerone status.
As Community Manager, Alan manages technology and operational systems to maintain excellent service to our members, handles all details for moving members in and out, ensures our facilities remain in great shape, and provides logistical support to Endeavor’s meeting and event space users.
